Terms and Conditions
The following criteria are not intended to discriminate against anyone who is in financial need. The Manor Band Boosters have limited funds for financial assistance and must ensure that it's awarded with the best interests for both the student AND the entire band program as a whole.
Students or parents interested in financial assistance MUST complete this application in its entirety to be considered. Submitting an application does not guarantee an aid package will be received. Aid will only be paid out to those that are notified by the Boosters that they have been selected. Instructions on how to claim the funds will be sent if you are chosen to receive the aid.
Students who are awarded financial assistance of any kind agree to abide by an expanded set of expectations including, but not limited to: Abiding by the guidelines set in the Band Student Handbook, acceptable amount of daily home practice as evidenced by satisfactory progress as determined by directors/instructors; no unexcused absences from lessons; participation in ALL fundraising activities; academic eligibility must be maintained. If the student is suspended from band activities due to academic eligibility, then the remaining assistance will be forfeit.
Parents of students who receive financial assistance of any kind must volunteer a minimum of 8 hours (2 home game concessions or 3 to 4 band events). If a majority of the hours are not fulfilled during the first semester, then the amount awarded will be forfeit.
Los siguientes criterios no tienen como objetivo discriminar a nadie que tenga necesidades económicas. Los promotores de la banda Manor tienen fondos limitados para asistencia financiera y deben asegurarse de que se otorgue teniendo en cuenta los mejores intereses tanto del estudiante como de todo el programa de la banda en su conjunto.
Los estudiantes o padres interesados en recibir asistencia financiera DEBEN completar esta solicitud en su totalidad para ser considerados. Enviar una solicitud no garantiza que se recibirá un paquete de ayuda. La ayuda solo se pagará a aquellos a quienes los promotores notifiquen que han sido seleccionados. Se enviarán instrucciones sobre cómo reclamar los fondos si se lo elige para recibir la ayuda.
Los estudiantes a los que se les otorga asistencia financiera de cualquier tipo aceptan cumplir con un conjunto ampliado de expectativas que incluyen, entre otras: cumplir con las pautas establecidas en el Manual del estudiante de la banda, una cantidad aceptable de práctica diaria en el hogar evidenciada por un progreso satisfactorio según lo determinen los directores/instructores; no tener ausencias injustificadas de las lecciones; participar en TODAS las actividades de recaudación de fondos; se debe mantener la elegibilidad académica. Si el estudiante es suspendido de las actividades de la banda debido a su elegibilidad académica, perderá la ayuda restante.
Los padres de los estudiantes que reciben ayuda financiera de cualquier tipo deben ofrecerse como voluntarios durante un mínimo de 8 horas (2 concesiones para partidos en casa o 3 o 4 eventos de la banda). Si no se completa la mayoría de las horas durante el primer semestre, se perderá el monto otorgado.
